Wholesale Pruning Shears & Secateurs

A useful pruning shears quotation starts with the cutting task. Whether your customers call them hand pruners, pruning shears or secateurs, compare the mechanism, grip and sample performance before price.

Choose the cutting action

Ask suppliers to identify bypass, anvil or snip designs clearly. State whether the intended task is pruning fresh stems, working with woody material or detailed trimming. Request an agreed sample test; a claimed maximum cutting diameter is not a substitute for checking the intended material.

Define the blade and handle

Record blade material, heat-treatment requirements, finish, overall length and tool weight. Check handle opening, grip surface, spring retention and lock operation. If replacement blades or springs matter to your range, confirm availability and part compatibility before ordering.

Compare bulk quotations fairly

Give each supplier the same specification, quantity and packaging brief. Ask them to separate product cost, logo setup, sample charges and any inspection or testing costs. A retail card, pouch and gift box can change both unit price and carton dimensions.

Approve a sample and packing standard

Agree cutting, opening-and-closing and lock checks against a signed-off sample. Confirm protective packaging for the blade, retail labelling and carton quantities. Destination-market requirements should be identified before production is committed.
